Chapter 1: On Yahyah's Claw (Closed)

They kept walking towards Okita’s Manor The place was a humble house but well decorated inside. After they got inside Ryu showed the rest of the manor. His restroom, his studing room, the bathroon and the living room; all of them gave the impression of an important clan. However some thigs didn’t add up. The restroom was way untidy considering the time it was. The bathroom lacked the so-called water scents that most nobility used to have. The pottery at the kitchen seemed a little burned up. This little detail reveled that the Okita Clan could no longer afford servants. Although they had enough money to live like a half-century the Okita was no longer at its best. Ryu told Tiki to wait in the living room as he made breakfast.

“What would you like to have ?”

Tiki nodded.She sat on one of the pillows with her feet under her.She exmined the place.It looked better tha her's.Her dad had no taste.They had an ugly puke green carpet as their only type of floor decoration.A old table that they couldn't even eat on most of the time,the other only nice thing they had were the beautiful pillows.And as for the kitchen,Tiki build it herself with earth bending.The ground was all earth."To be a great earth bender tiki,you must have earth beneath you at all times."She heard her dad's voice echo in her head.

"You have a rather nice place."She told him.

“Thank you. It’s a recent adquisition. I inhereted from my father” he explained. He started looking for the bag with daarjeling tea. He had forgotten were he had left it. As he was looking for the tea he kept founding some of her mother’s “treasures”. That’s how she called her; they were drawing, stories and mementos her mother kept. He looked at the top his father bought him for his birthday; he behold some sketches of a fire bird he did as a child; he read some line of his first stories as “Fire Lord Ryu”. He still looked up to Fire Lord Zuko and his ingeniousity.

he finally found that yellow box. The box was wooden yellow, no paint applied, and it had been carefully lustered. It had Air Nomads desings all over it. It was a precious gift from some Air Nomad he father. The box diplayed many Avatar’s faces one could see Yangcheng, Kuruk, Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, Korra and many more. In Nomads characters it was written “Avatar’s Honey” all around the picture of the Avatars.

Ryu took three tea spoons from the box and started brewing the tea. He repeated out loud. He started looking for his black tea set, the one made of black iron. As he was putting each piece over the table he lit the burner it came with the set. Blue lit the place for a while as he prepared the fire; the oil started burning. He put the kettle over the burner and waited for the water to be hot enough “Never let it boil” his father once said. Soon he realized Tiki didn’t answer him. “What would you like to have?”

Tiki got up.She was distracted by a picture.A picture of a young boy and his family.It was a lovely photo she couldn't take her eyes of.She wish her family was painted into a picture.But it wouldn't happen.Her mother died when she was very youung.Too young to remember,then she went off to his studies.It was rude but she couldn't help it.She thought it was a nice place.She admired it for awhile but then heard Ryu's voice ask her what she wants.She wasn't picky."Anything you can fix hun."She told him as she walked back into the living room.

Ryu decided to make some toast as he took the fire berries jam out. He extinshed the flames after he listened the water bubbling. When the toasts were ready he put them on a big red plate. He grabbed the kettle and put them in the tray with two cups and the red plate. He carried the tray to the living room where he settled everything for breakfast he offered Tiki the tea leaves to smell them. “What do you think?” he said

Her head turned around to look at what he has brought in.She crossed her arms examining the food."Not bad."She said nodding her head.She was pleased but didn't want to show it,she laughed for a second uncrossing her arms."For a man!"She sat down.Still laughing.

“So what do you think Yahyah’s have planned for me? What did she make you do to recover your fans”? He asked eagerly. He took a toast and spread some jam over it. His mind was overflooded again; he almost forgot to pour the leaves inside the kettle. “Five minutes” he said out loud. “So tell me, what’s Yahyah capable of?”

Tiki literally choked on her food."She is very capable,she is a demon in a sweet old lady's body when this happens."Tiki took a sip of her tea slowly.She started toremeber what Yahyah did.

"She did alot of things she made me clean her house but purposely recked it,then she made me balace myself on a sharp piece of earth for her own enjoyment but the worse she has made me do was clean her feet!"Tiki put her food down disgusted as she got flaw backs of that.

"I've never seen such yello toenails in my life."

“Oh my! Oh my!” Ryu said in dispair. Inside Ryu was laughing. Being some old lady servant wasn’t the first thing on his wanna-be list but it was not gonna be so hard. It was gonna be nasty, unfair, disgusting maybe, but there wasn’t a big deal about that. I mean he could’ve sent him to search for Avatar’s Kyoshi Fan, or the ancient “Space Sword” long time forgotten, or to bring her a golden dragon egg. Getting the ring was gonna be easy as pie. A week of hard labour and bam! There you have it. Really easy.

“So, what else did this horrible woman make you do?” he said in dispaired.

Tiki thought for a moment.She rememebered when her and Motie were bending they accidently caught Yahyah's house on fire.That was a oopsy but Yahyah made them pay,she made them build a small house,buy pillows and other great things.Then she made them sit in there and drink tea while she threw fireballs at the house until there was a big hole then she started aiming for their heads.


"I think you'll see the horror she can do soon enough Ryu."Tiki said taking the last bite of her foood before sipping her tea.
