The night of nights (Leosan)

Yami was sitting on a bench in the light state, waiting. She was here because she had gotten a letter from her friend, Drago phoenix. The letter said to meet him in the light state on this particulat day. Yami's curiosity had gotten the best of her, so she came. She didn't really know where to find him, so she was sitting on this bench, staring at her map, although she may have been holding it sideways.

Fireball, her pet dragon, was concealed in the trees behind her. She had gotten here on him, but didn't want people to see him since night furys were so rare. He remained hidden in the trees, occasionally killing a small animal to eat. At this point, it was midday, time for lunch. Yami's stomach growled at the thought of food, but she didn't have any money. I stead, she stood and grabbed her bow and walked off into the forest, deep enough that nobody would notice her killing animals.

After Yami had shot four rabbits, she was sitting at her fire, making a rabbit stew. She was about to add the diced rabbit to the stew when Fireball made a noise. This noise signaled to Yami that somebody as coming, but that this person was a friend, not foe. Yami smiled and turned to face the direction where she could now hear footsteps getting closer.

Drago was walking in the woods after seeing the sight of fireball in the sky and hour before, he sent a letter to yami hoping he would be able to see her agian...and since he knew that yami was a curious girl she might come eariler than he expected...even though they met each other many times before...it wasn't actual dates...it was more like trying to stay alive... anyways he heard fireball, yami's dragon, making a sound and walked to the source, "Yami!" he said giving her a hug, " how are you?"

Yami was surprised when Drago hugged her, and her face turned red. "So, you managed to find me. I'm gonna be honest, my funds a little low right now...so i'm quite possibly illegally hunting. Would you like some rabbit stew? I'm making enough for four people, it should be able to serve us two and a little for Fireball." Yami said to Drago, turning back to the pot to continue cooking. Not many people knew she was a cook, but she had actually taken some culinary classes when she was 14. After she was done with the current ingredients, she turned to Drago and said, "So what did you want me here for? Why did you send me the letter?"

"well...umm" drago didn't know what to say, "he thought he was ready but i guess he wasn't fully. he took a deep breath, " we met many times...however we never went on an actual date..." he said turning his face because he was blushing a bit.

Yami stopped what she was doing and turned away, trying to hide the color in her face. "A-are you actually asking me out?" Yami said. It was a scene she had played over and over in her head since he had never actually asked her yet. Most of the time they had spent together was spent saving each other from certain destruction. But the scene she had played in her head wan't exactly in a setting where she was cooking her lunch.

Drago nodded, "even though your my girlfriend we never ever went out, and i thought...it might be time that we went on a...date," he said looking into yami's eyes waiting for her to reply to his request, his heart was pounding he love yami...but never actually said that to her.

Yami's heart started pounding harder. A date? FINALLY! Inside, Yami was partying like there was no tomorrow, however outside she remained still in stunned silence. She finally broke from her trance, although still gazed into his aqua eyes. Her eyes were probably showing small flecks of orange by now, especially since the bijuu doesn't like Drago. Yami broke the silence by saying, "A-a date? I think that would be...awesome." Yami allowed a grin to spread across her face, then she jumped onto Drago, hugging him. She then planted a kiss on his cheek.

drago hugged Yami back, and was happy that she was happy, it was a strange feeling but it was a good one. he put his forehead on yami's and looked at her in the eyes, but noticed a bit of orange, "is the five tails bothering you?" he asked her. but didn't care about the answer he just wanted to be with yami, no matter how hard it would be..." anyways lets eat you look hungry."

Yami's stomach growled again, probably loud enough for Drago to hear. She turned back to the stew, adding in some vegetables and spices, then stirring it in. A delicious aroma filled the air as Yami poured the stew into two bowls. She handed one of the bowls to Drago and set hers on the ground while she fished a larger bowl out of her bag. She poured some stew into this bowl and brought it over to Fireball, who was sitting contently at the edge of the clearing, watching everything.

Yami answered Drago's question. "Well, it's not really bothering me, it just doesn't like you." Yami told him, smiling.

Drago held the bowl, and laughed a bit, "he doesn't like me? well that's a surprise if the five tails was a person i would have respected him, her, it..." he laughed hard, "they think humans are less Superior then them selve and yet they are trapped inside of it...only if the five tails would realize that many people are as strong as them...i'm not stonger than one however, one day i'll be an even match to it maybe even more." he said grining and slowly eating the soup.
