The Search

Kang smiled. "Yeah I don't think I'll be fighting him unless i make it to the finals." He had the mimic spin again. "Wait!" He focused a moment. The clone shifted to look like Nanuq.

"Now that may come in handy" Kang laughed.

"But wait..." He covered himself in shadows similar to the clone. "...And viola!" The shadows shifted to look like Nanuq as well.

Three Nanuqs stood in the room, all staring at each other.

Nanuq gazed at the clones in awed astonishment as he spun around to get the full view of the clones in their majestic entirety. "Very nicely done, i must say" Nanuq replied as he turned his attention to Kang who was covered in the shadows of the clones, "That could come in handy in the fights. I personally would use them to mount your defenses and or the finishing attack. It should speed up the pace of the match into your favor" he commented as he pondered on the subject. Upon releasing a smile, he peered out of the entrance of the tent and over to a series of smoke puffs rising from a nearby tent which severed hot food to the audience members and combatants alike. "How about we get something to get and some nice hot tea. That should calm some nerves and level out your mind".

All the Kangs chuckled. "Sure, tea sounds great" they all said in unison.

The original Kang laughed. "Yeah, this will come in handy when i visit my relatives..." he paused, "if i had relatives."

He laughed, trying not to spoil the mood. "Now, let's get some tea. Or juice. Juice is good." He clapped, and all the clones melted away.

Nanuq's smile faded down to a saddened one upon hearing the sorrowful tale of Kang's family life and with a reassuring smile, he placed his arm around his shoulder and escorted him out of the tent. "But you do have relatives!" Nanuq proclaimed, as if getting ready to tell a story, "You've got me..well..after i adopt you of course" he added. "Oh! Damn, that was supposed to be my gift to you upon winning the tournament, of well" He joked with a smile and a chuckle as he nudged his shoulder and proceeded into the marketplace outside of the training arena they were just in. Nanuq's nostrils pointed toward the various smells of the marketplace as he let go of Kang's shoulder and walked around the wide range of foods and people that owned the shops and restaurants, "See any food you think you'd enjoy?".

Kang filled a plate with rice and dragonchicken in an orange sauce. "This smells delicious!" he exclaimed. Next he grabbed a couple of fried potato puffs and a guava smoothie.

"What are you getting?" he asked Nanuq cheerfully.

Nanuq chuckled, "Oh..i think i'll play it safe and try out their water tribe styled food. Then i can review them on it" his chuckle turned into a near laugh as he finally got to the water tribe pan of food. The smell was revolting and the sight of such food was even worse, with a smirk he turned to another section of food that looked and smelled better, "Better thought..i will go with this". Placing some of the chicken that was covered in brownish orange sauce that was glazed with seeds on his plate, Nanuq made his way over to one of the tables and sat down, immediately drinking his warm tea after doing so.
