A wall of ice has been risen in a 10ft long, 10ft wide, circular arena in the streets of the Water Tribe. Citizens watch from their roofs, or through the small holes in the ice walls. These walls have been erected to protect them from the fighting to come. The Second Tenkaichi Bending-kai Tournament was about to begin, and this time it was big. Old fighters, warriors, royals, heroes, villains, from all throughout history had been revived in their prime to fight the challengers of the tournament. Organized by a mysterious being, cloaked in shadow. No one saw his face. Only letters written in what might've been blood were sent out to the few lucky enough to be invited to participate in the tournament.
Who was this mysterious figure? What did he want? Why was this happening? Only time would tell. Now, was the time to fight. The two opponents entered the ring. Katara of the Southern Water Tribe, youthful and deadly with her entire water bending repertoire appeared before the challenger. Now was the time to fight. Could the challenger defeat her, and move on to the next round? Only time would tell.
Mr. Showbiz stood at the top of small ice tower, announcer of the tournament, hired by this mysterious figure. "The First Round of the Second Tenkaichi Bending-kai Tournament will begin!" he cried to the cheering populace, "The challenger is Izanagi Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi of the Vermilion Dragon Empire! His opponent will be none other than the beautiful and deadly, Katara of the Southern Water Tribe! As challenger, Izanagi Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi will have first strike! Let the fight begin!" Mr. Showbiz fired his matchlock pistol, and the match was started.

1. Octopus Stance: Eight Water Whips - The user gets into the octopus stance and lashes out at the opponent with all eight water tentacles.
2. Octopus Stance: Eight Ice Spears - The user gets into the octopus stances and stabs the user with eight spears of ice made from the frozen tentacles.

1. Blood Bending - The user blood bends the opponent into submission and proceeds to attack them mercilessly, throwing them around like a rag doll.

Kaminari Ryujin | 雷竜神 | Lightning Dragon God - A bolt of lightning is shot at the opponent, taking the form of a great dragon. It's an attack that aims for the center of the gut and moves outward across the body. However, the lightning is not strong enough to kill, and in fact, is not meant to be fatal, but merely to stun the opponent by confusing, interrupting, and paralyzing nerves throughout the body. It is always followed up by a strong physical blow.
Nagareboshi | 流れ星 | Shooting Star - A ball of flame is gathered and concentrated into a tight, and compact ball at the side of the users hip. It is then shot at the opponent at high speeds, aiming for their chest. The attack is meant to burn a concentrated area of the body. It is aptly named as it resembles a shooting star as it moves across the arena.
Two Super Specials
Gōka Mekkyaku | 豪火滅却 | Great Fire Annihilation - The user gathers chi in his throat, mouth and lungs, allowing it to build and move. As the chi is expelled from the mouth, it is converted into flames and blow outwards, covering a wide area with a wall of flame.
Tengai Shinsei | 天碍震星 | Heavenly Obstacle Quaking Star - The user gathers a large ball of flame above his head, like a larger version of the shooting star, and sends it off into the sky. Shooting it past the atmosphere. The "mini-star" then falls back to earth, landing back at the point of origin, covering the area in flames. The flames, however, can be blocked or bent to avoid death or other side effects if necessary.
One Ultra Special
Idai Tengu | 偉大天狗 | Great Tengu - The user cloaks himself in tangible flame. The flame becomes armour shaped like a great, proud, flaming Tengu. With long flowing white hair, and four arms. Two normal ones, and one at the tip of each wing. The ones on the wings carry the swords, and hold the sheaths while the main hands use the swords. The wings are also fully useable. The swords are able to cut through even the strongest of materials, and it was said that Susano'o, Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu--the progenitors of the technique--would have entire maps redrawn after their fights using the Idai Tengu. It's also become legend that Susano'o once split a mountain with his Tengu armour. The swords send out powerful blasts of energy, flame and even wind. Unfortunately, for every minute the user spends in the Idai Tengu form is one day they will spend without bending, making it an absolute last resort.
Izanagi entered the arena, bowing low to his opponent. It surprised him to see Katara returned from the dead, but Izanagi was not going to let his opponent see him become unsettled by the return of a great water bending master. Besides, she was a hero, the wife of Avatar Aang, the mother of the modern Air Benders, and one of the greatest water benders of her time. She even brought water benders back to the South Pole. This woman was a legend, but right now, despite her legendary status, she was Izanagi's enemy. His opponent. His current challenge. The announcer gave Izanagi the right of first strike, because HE was the challenger.
Izanagi wasn't going to complain about that. With a smile, he removed his yukata, the upper part of his robe. Undoing the ties that bound it together, he removed it, standing there shirtless, and threw it off to the side of the arena. It would only get in the way. Besides, he quite liked it, and didn't want it to get burned. Izanagi turned his hands into flat, blade-like shapes and covered them in white flame. His flame. The signature of the House of Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi. With his flaming hands, he ran at Katara, and aimed for a pointed, flaming jab to her gut. This was it, the tournament had begun.

Katara saw the young man, and eyed him as he came after her with his flaming fists, aiming to cut through her like she was wood. She would not allow him. Katara followed suit, covering her hands with water, and prepared to spar with the young man. She blocked his flaming jab to her gut with her own hands. There was a sizzle and some steam as fire and water collided. Katara used Izanagi's momentum against him, and spun his arm around. Catching his arm in her hand, Katara held it out as she froze the water on her palms into ice, and went to slam the icy jab into Izanagi's ribs.

Izanagi blocked the shot by exhaling from his mouth, shooting some flame at Katara's hand, melting the ice. The tips of her fingers burned, and hit Izanagi's chest, but they did not hurt, nor wound him. For that, Izanagi could be partially thankful. Catching Katara off guard, the Prince was able to break free of her grip, knocking Katara back a bit. Using his flames to push himself back, and skid across the ice like a skater, Izanagi put distance between him and Katara. "You're a tough one," he smirked, remarking how hard it was to get a hit on Katara, "It's almost ridiculous. Truthfully, I don't know if I'll be able to make it all the way to the tenth opponent."
Izanagi was only being half serious. Whenever he struck Katara it felt like she wasn't feeling it, or that the hit wasn't getting through even though it was connecting. And yet, when she blocked, she blocked strong. She was a tough and creative opponent. As to be expected of one of the heroes of the Hundred Year War, he supposed. The challenge was all part of the fun. Now time for the attack. With all of his might, Izanagi gathered all of the breath in his body, as well as his chi. Molding it together, he raised his hands, and lunged forward, punching out bursts of flame at his opponent, hoping to strike her with a long range, wide range attack.

Katara could see the Fire Bender prepping for an attack. All Fire Benders were the same. He moved back, obviously putting space between himself and her. This was so he could get her with a long range attack. Oh, and what were the odds, it was a wide range attack too. Even more fun. Katara brought up a wall of water and doused the flames in an instant. Much of the snow on the nearby houses had been used for the attack. Some of it rose up as steam, but Katara was able to capture the moisture and retain the same amount of water for her counter attack. With a spin, Katara shot the water in a blast towards Izanagi. Turning it into a giant ice fist as it approached the young man. The attack landed, hitting him square in the chest and slamming him into the ice wall that protected the cheering civilians.
While the young prince was down, Katara prepped her attack. Gathering water into a ball in front of her, she flattened it out into a water screen. Then, with the grace and beauty of a dancer, she spun and wove, jabbing two fingers on each hand into the water at certain points in rhythm over and over. This shot small balls of water at Izanagi with each jab. Slowly shrinking the already thin screen of water with each shot. Hopefully, the prince would stay down long enough to get hit.
