2nd Tenkaichi Bending-kai | Round 1 | Drago Pheonix (Leosan) vs. Katara | Southern Water Tribe

A wall of ice has been risen in a 10ft long, 10ft wide, circular arena in the streets of the Water Tribe. Citizens watch from their roofs, or through the small holes in the ice walls. These walls have been erected to protect them from the fighting to come. The Second Tenkaichi Bending-kai Tournament was about to begin, and this time it was big. Old fighters, warriors, royals, heroes, villains, from all throughout history had been revived in their prime to fight the challengers of the tournament. Organized by a mysterious being, cloaked in shadow. No one saw his face. Only letters written in what might've been blood were sent out to the few lucky enough to be invited to participate in the tournament.

Who was this mysterious figure? What did he want? Why was this happening? Only time would tell. Now, was the time to fight. The two opponents entered the ring. Katara of the Southern Water Tribe, youthful and deadly with her entire water bending repertoire appeared before the challenger. Now was the time to fight. Could the challenger defeat her, and move on to the next round? Only time would tell.

Mr. Showbiz stood at the top of small ice tower, announcer of the tournament, hired by this mysterious figure. "The First Round of the Second Tenkaichi Bending-kai Tournament will begin!" he cried to the cheering populace, "The challenger is Drago Phoenix of the Light Bender State of the Vermilion Dragon Empire! His opponent will be none other than the beautiful and deadly, Katara of the Southern Water Tribe! As challenger, Drago Phoenix will have first strike! Let the fight begin!" Mr. Showbiz fired his matchlock pistol, and the match was started.

1. Octopus Stance: Eight Water Whips - The user gets into the octopus stance and lashes out at the opponent with all eight water tentacles.

2. Octopus Stance: Eight Ice Spears - The user gets into the octopus stances and stabs the user with eight spears of ice made from the frozen tentacles.

Ultra Special:

1. Blood Bending - The user blood bends the opponent into submission and proceeds to attack them mercilessly, throwing them around like a rag doll.

Drago was suprised to see who his opponent was, he knew that people will be revived for this torney but couldn't handle but be in awe. Katara, one of the strongest water benders in history, he was going to fight her, she was also...stop thinking these things he thought to himself. "well isn't this a nice suprise," he said calmly even inside he was fighting with himself if he was dreaming or in reality. he got in a fighting stance and covered his arms in blue flames (not a special attack) and fired a number of fire balls at his opponent.

Katara was hit by the attack, and she felt it. Though she said nothing. Standing back up, eerily, like a reanimated mummy, rising from the crypt. With a wicked smile, she cracked her neck, and prepared her next attack. Using her Water Bending, Katara skated forward on the snow and ice, and dashed towards her opponent. Katara covered her arm in water, using the snow to do it, and bent it into ice, forming it into a blade that attached to her arm. Curved like the crescent moon, and sharp as steel, it shone in the sun like a deadly work of art. Katara slashed the icy blade, hoping to take a chunk out of Drago's left shoulder.

drago lite his arm in fire and and controlled it's movement so it started to swirl around his arm until it was like a fire drill. and punched right through the ice blade, however the collision between the fire and ice created a small mist and extinguished the flame. drago then kicked the reanimated girl in the stomach.

DRago then jump back a few feet backwards and went in a stance. this stance isn't used by any fire bender but him, it's his unique fighting style. he taught himself for ten years how to bend on his own without anyone's help, also creating his own fighting style.
drago suddenly dodged to the left, he fired blast of fire and circled around katara. he knew this would camoflage where he is but he is traveling within the flame and could get himself hurt if he doesn't act fast. he then fires a barrage of fireballs from all side of the circle as he circles within it.

The kick to her gut was minimal. The breaking of her ice sword, also minimal. Then the boy attempted to attack her with several fire balls. Typical of a Fire Bender, flashy and pointless. What was the term that came to mind? Oh yeah. Muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda, muda!!! Or something like that. An old enemy of Aang's had once used that. A truly formidable foe. He made Fire Lord Ozai look like Admiral Zhao. But, now was not the time for that.

Using her water bending and the snow and ice around her, Katara covered herself in a sphere of water that doused the flames. Then, she expanded the water sphere outwards, towards her opponent. As the wall of the sphere closed in on her opponent, Katara hollowed out the center of the sphere and shot the water to the outer shell. Using it to form, large, massive ice spikes that jutted out in all directions like a spiky durian fruit. The hope was to hurt Drago with the spikes of the now icy fruit. Hopefully, it would work.
