2nd Tenkaichi Bending-kai | Round 1 | Ru-Zheng (Deejer210) vs. Katara | Southern Water Tribe

A wall of ice has been risen in a 10ft long, 10ft wide, circular arena in the streets of the Water Tribe. Citizens watch from their roofs, or through the small holes in the ice walls. These walls have been erected to protect them from the fighting to come. The Second Tenkaichi Bending-kai Tournament was about to begin, and this time it was big. Old fighters, warriors, royals, heroes, villains, from all throughout history had been revived in their prime to fight the challengers of the tournament. Organized by a mysterious being, cloaked in shadow. No one saw his face. Only letters written in what might've been blood were sent out to the few lucky enough to be invited to participate in the tournament.

Who was this mysterious figure? What did he want? Why was this happening? Only time would tell. Now, was the time to fight. The two opponents entered the ring. Katara of the Southern Water Tribe, youthful and deadly with her entire water bending repertoire appeared before the challenger. Now was the time to fight. Could the challenger defeat her, and move on to the next round? Only time would tell.

Mr. Showbiz stood at the top of small ice tower, announcer of the tournament, hired by this mysterious figure. "The First Round of the Second Tenkaichi Bending-kai Tournament will begin!" he cried to the cheering populace, "The challenger is Ru-Zheng of the Vermilion Dragon Empire! His opponent will be none other than the beautiful and deadly, Katara of the Southern Water Tribe! As challenger, Ru-Zheng will have first strike! Let the fight begin!" Mr. Showbiz fired his matchlock pistol, and the match was started.

2. Double Water Whip - The user gathers tendrils of water on their arms, and whips the opponent with both of them.

1. Octopus Stance: Eight Water Whips - The user gets into the octopus stance and lashes out at the opponent with all eight water tentacles.

2. Octopus Stance: Eight Ice Spears - The user gets into the octopus stances and stabs the user with eight spears of ice made from the frozen tentacles.

Ultra Special:

1. Blood Bending - The user blood bends the opponent into submission and proceeds to attack them mercilessly, throwing them around like a rag doll.

Ru walked into what seemed like an impromptu ice arena. He heard the announcer introduce Ru and his opponent. He was happy that he actually had a crowd to cheer him on unlike a previous battle he had. Ru was ready for this battle and so was the crowd. It was difficult for Ru to firebend in such heavy clothes as he was wearing now. But nonetheless, Ru was still a powerful bender. When the announcer said start and shot the pistol, Ru took no time to do his favorite attack, a front aerial that sent huge plumes of fire downward on the enemy.

Derp fire; a special blast of flames that are created when the user clears their mind. The flames are much hotter and do much more damage than regular poop flames.

Rekkashinken; five continuos punches using fists of flames.
Incendiary wall; a giant wall of fire that hurts... A lot.
Ultra Special:
Flaming Hadoken; a blast of fire that is prepared for a few seconds and then real eased at insanely fast speeds. The user is shortly immobilized for a few seconds after use.

Katara was hit by the blast, but she lifted herself up soon enough, like a silent corpse. With a wicked smile on her face, Katara gathered water from the snow around her. Forming it into a small pillar of water, she aimed it right for her opponent's chest, particularly in the heart region. Katara knew Fire Benders, and how they worked. She had seen Zuko and her husand Fire Bend, and she had battled countless Fire Benders during the 100 Year War. This one would be no different. Silently, Katara waited for the attack to land.

Ru shot a blast of flames at the water hurdling towards him, but to no avail, it hit him, sending him backwards into an icy wall. Fighting waterbenders was never something he could practice or even learn to do because of the lack of waterbenders that he lives near. But he knew how all of them fought, defend yourself, then use your defense to strike. Ru picked himself up off the snowy ground and cracked his knuckles. With that he sent out multiple punches of flame towards his foe.

Katara was struck with the flame, once more bending over to the point it looked like her spine had snapped. This time, the flame was enough to slam her hard into the icy wall. She slid down the wall and hit the ground. But after a few moments of pause, she was up again, cracking her neck and readying to fight. She smirked wickedly at her opponent and prepared her own attack. Dashing forward with all her strength, using her water bending to glide gracefully over the ice and snow, Katara covered her hand in water and turned it into a heavy, fisted gauntlet of ice. As she drew close to her opponent, Ru-Zheng, Katara aimed her fist for his gut, or his head. Truly whatever her hand could hit really.

Ru moved swiftly out of the way from Katara's attacks. Ru fled to the opposite side of the arena, breathing heavily, he tried thinking of an attack, but it didn't come as easily Ashe wanted it to. He first thought of doing a bit of wall running while in a curtain of flames so she didn't know where he was coming from and honestly that sounded pretty good to him.
He ran towards Katara and took a sharp left towards the wall. Ru did what he was planning and made a curtain of flames to conceal his location as he ran horizontally across the wall with the help of his firebending. Once he thought he was at a good position to attack, he leapt from the wall, ready to punch, kick, or blast his opponent with flames.
