"It shouldn't be too far from here." Clarissa yelled after her and then was relieved when Rose found it. She gave Rose a smile before replying. "Lead the way." Ranger growled a bit as the teens below them moved around, but they stayed obvious to the girls on the roof. We could have killed them from here and they wouldn't even know where we came from. Clarissa shook the thought from her head as she looked down at them.

rose picked up clarrissa and Ranger and jumped from one building to the next, slowly approaching her home, as they were traveling she asked her, "how did you become blind...if that isn't a touchy topic for you."

Clarissa sighed as she tried to figure out how to answer the question. "My parents used to tell them that I was born this way, but I found out after my mother passed that I was two when it happened. One day I just got sick, really bad. My parents called in doctors from all over, and I got better, but I never regained my sight. I wasn't old enough to speak very well, so I couldn't tell them that I couldn't see until it was far too late to do anything about it." She petted Ranger's worried head for a second before continuing. "So, when I started to walk around I figured out that I could sense things through the earth that my parents couldn't. They brought in teachers to train me to be able to defend myself and to be able to perfect my given sight."

Rose smiled as a figure appeared infront of them, he was a bit taller than Rose and was wearing a gold jacket. "what are you two doing on the top of buildings?" his voice was harsh and cold. Rose reached for her weapon, ready if the man attacked, as she said, "i'm trying to bring this girl home, she was kidnapped yesterday and i'm afraid the kidnappers are in the crowd somewhere..."

Clarissa smiled to the man, intentionally looking at the wrong place. Ranger growled a bit, but stayed calm in Clarissa's arms. She knew that Rose would protect her and Ranger against the man, but she was still just as skeptical. Without being able to touch the ground, Clarissa didn't think she would be able to Earth bend well, and she wasn't really trained on hand to hand fighting. Much less a fight on a rooftop against someone she couldn't see well. "Yes, sir. We apologize if we have done something wrong, but you see. I can't be left on my own. I'm blind and can't see where I'm going." Clarissa played her blindness against her better wishes, thinking the man would let them pass if he felt sorrow for them. At least that was what she had hoped for.

the man patted both girls on the head, "alright then, get going," he said jumping off.
Rose sighed in releif," i thought we were going to fight that man...he looked strong...abnormally strong looking." Rose quickly fixed up her hair, "from the way he was standing he was an earthbender...i know theses kind of things," she said laughing a bit."lets get going then!"

Clarissa sighed as she felt the man's presence disappear. Could it be that we just got past them that easily? Clarissa wondered as she petted Ranger's head to soothe him. Ranger started to get a bit antsy in her arms, not being used to being carried often. She looked up at Rose and smiled. "Yeah, lets go before he comes back."

Rose held clarissa and jumped onto a few other building then onto the ground, "here we-" before she finished he sentence she was tackled by a wollf like dog biting her in the arm as a man said, "well well well i guess we have two more and both are the ones we saw yesterday..." he said laughing hard and evily, as he removed rose's weapon and throwing it to the side.

Ranger growled as they got closer to the house and sprang out of Clarissa's arms when they landed. As soon as her feet touched the ground, Clarissa could see the ambush around them. Smiling, she swung her foot back behind her, raising a pillar at the thug moving in behind them. Ranger lashed out, jumping to attach the dog from Rose. Clarissa kept a steady eye on who came near her and made sure to stay close to Rose.

rose quickly took out a pistol and shot the dog in the head, killing it. rose ran and grabbed her scythe and looked at clarissa, "how many are there?"
