Just another day in Ba Sing Se

Walking in to the tea shop, refreshed, Sheng smiled and ordered her usual Green tea with lemon and honey. Sipping the drink, she looked outside and saw various things-street preformers, babies, mothers, and everything else she could think of. She walked outside with her cold drink on that hot day, looking at various pedestals, and smiled. She was happy she was here, and not back in the fire nation town.

Aimi walked in and sat next to Sheng and said,
"Green tea please!"
and looked at Sheng..
"Hi I'm Aimi"

Trying out the name for size, Sheng repeated, "Aimi. That's a cool name! I'm Sheng Chandong." She smiled. "What's your family name?" she asked innocently, unaware of Aimi's past. "I have parents, but they live off in the fire nation. My brother lives with me. I'm training to be a teamaker."

"Umm well my parents died when i was 5...Bejin"
She slowly sips some tea and looks at Sheng. Aimi started to tear up then
her happy face came down to a sad one and she tried not to cry in public.

Sheng looked up, making eye contact with Aimi. "It's okay. You know, I've heard of this...this legend, called Yuan Fen. It's like, when you find a person who you have a strong connection with. I think I've got that with you." Reaching in to her pocket, Sheng pulled out a hankerchief and a silver locket. "Yours," she said.
"Let's be friends!"

Aimi grabs the hankercheif and dabbs her eyes then looks at the
locket Sheng had.
She sat up straight and tried to make herself look less teary
"okay" said Aimi happily

"Yeah!" Leaving the drinks on the table, Sheng motioned to go outside. "I wanna practice bending, if that's alright with you," she said, rushing off to a hill she had found. "This'll be great," she said, making a flame.

Aimi rushed outside and followed Sheng to the top of the hill then sat down.
"So... show me your moves!"
She jumped up and stomped the ground.
Suddenly under her a peice of rock came up and lifted her up and up.

Temporarily dumbfounded, Sheng looked at the rock and smiled. "That's not much compared to this." Sheng put her hands at her sides and two long flames came out, rocketing her to the sky. "Duel?" she asked, cocky features smiling with sass. Shooting a few bouts of fire with her hands, Sheng widened her eyes.

"Duel" said Aimi slowly raising her ahnds up to make a clear rock sheild then threw a few huge boulders at Sheng. Aimi motioned upward and rocketed upwark to the sky.
