Darkness and Light

Shadows creep up the wall
Light hides in fear of its endless black
The shadow lurks to seize all
While the light hides away till the morning to attack
Darkness hides in the becoming light and stays small
The light charges to destroy to coal black
The darkness screams and charges the light with great brawl
The light does not give in to the darkness one tack
The night draws closer to the battling sprawl
Light retreats into its safe firelight not into black
The Shadow goes into his domain to plan for the next scrawl
