Shadows of Flames

Moru had broken off from his travel group to go off on his own. He had been able to wander his way to a small town. Only seeing two or three other travelers on the trail there, he found the amount of people within the town much more comfortable. Moru wandered around the small town searching for somewhere to rest and maybe grab a bite. Moru looked around, mumbling to himself the names of the stores and shops he passed looking for one that looked like it would serve food.
Amidst his search he witnessed a boy almost sort of get attacked. Almost as in "they yelled at him, but never touched him until he beat the snot out of them" Which impressed Moru, that someone could disappear and reappear like that. He hadn't really seen techniques like that back in Vermillion. Wait... yes he had, he'd seen one or two light benders do something similar to that. So the guy was a light bender. Moru inferred. Moru watched as he talked to another guy before disappearing away with the three guys who tried to attack him.
Moru walked up behind the other guy without getting too close. " Interesting friend you seem to have." Moru said looking at the spot where the light bender just was.

Jonathon looked over his shoulder at the new comer. "Hello there." The fire bender instictively said for a greeting. He looked over the new comer and realized they were straight from the empire. Jonathon sighed a little sigh, their awe from the light bender gave him away as being sheltered. "I wouldn't call him a friend. He just pointed me in this direction. I was in need of supplies and he was ready to keep walking. That's all." The mercenary began to turn and walk away, then stopped and looked back. "What are you doing so far from the empire?"

Leo got to the jail, however when he got there the guards that usually standing the door were on the ground, leo checked for a pulse, but there wasn't. he checked the body of one of the guards, no wounds, no choking, nothing... he set the three men free and told them to run as fast a possible. he entered the building finding many guards dead, 25 to be exact.
he teleported immediately to the village and destroyed all of the light walls he uses to teleport. his face was pale, and barely was able to breath. he hated to see death and the way they looked were as the where trying to grasp for air or was chocking on something.

" I'm travelling." Moru replied to Jonathan, "Wanted to see the world, have some adventures, make friends and all that." He said. " I was in a small group, but we ended up splitting up for various reasons." Moru looked down, then his stomach growled a little. He'd forgotten that he originally wanted to find somewhere to eat and rest. He was about to mention something about finding food when the other one came back. He had a look on his face of terror, his color pale as a ghost, and he was hyperventilating. Moru could only wonder in his head (Without obviously showing it on his face) what could make that happen, to someone who had just beaten up three bandits.

Jonathon stopped again when he saw the light bender return. He noticed the look of terror on his face before Jonathon could make a snarky comment. "What happened to you. You look like you've seen a ghost or something." The fire bender said, hearing his own stomach growl. "You know what'll help? Food. I have a feeling you're hungry too imipirial? You can buy." Jonathon said, walking away, not caring if they followed.
