Hair: Chase's hair is orange, he wears it in a shorter shag-type style
Eyes: Chase's eyes aren't overly large, and are a deep red in color.

Clothes: He usually dresses casually, anything that is comfortable and practical. Mostly he wears a pair of baggy pants and a sleeveless shirt
Skin: Chase's skin is naturally very fair, but over time from being outdoors so much, he has developed a little color, but not a lot
Body Type: He is lean, his upper body's muscles nice and toned.

|CHARACTERISTICS|
Personality: There is one thing that every person Chase meets will notice, and that is his red hot temper. Ever since he was a child, he had always been bad at meeting new people and keeping his temper under control. As he grew older, the issue seemed to worsen. It's almost as if he is in a state of constant anger. The smallest thing can set him off into a rage of yelling and violence. He has tried to work on keeping it in check, but has yet to see much improvement. Chase is very rash, and usually never thinks about what he is doing. His motto is do now think later. He is very distant with his own emotions, and is always awkward when put into a situation where he has to talk about his emotions and how he feels. Even though he does not talk about himself a lot, he is very in your face with his opinion, and won't pass up an opportunity to tell you what he thinks. Some are able to see past this and befriend his despite this, seeing his snide, sarcastic comments as funny. After a while he will open up to some, but it takes a very long time before one feels welcome around Chase. He may not act like it, but he cares about those around him and will do anything to protect those he cares about. He is a very morally just person, and hates seeing the weak getting prayed on. He does not do well with authority, but will listen to orders if it is a very serious situation. Chase would die to protect what he cares about. Though he lacks confidence in himself, Chase has an amazing capacity for absorbing knowledge. Almost everything that is told to him he can remember and quote back. His mind is almost like a mini data base, and he has instant access to any information that has been stored in it.

Brief History: Chase's birth was a tragic one, being born to a very poor family. His mother had four pregnancies before Chase, and all had been still borns. His mother thought that he would be the same, so after giving birth to the seemingly lifeless baby, she left it in the alley that she had collapsed in to push him out. After a while, the infants cries broke through the night, beckoning over some late night stroller. This man found the baby and took it to the nearest place to get it help. After washing and feeding the baby, he gave the little boy to a local orphanage, swearing to come back in six years time to get him back.
Six years passed, and sure enough, the man came back for the little boy, who he had named Chase. Chase had troubles with the other children, he didn't get along with them at all, and got in many fights, losing his temper easily. The man took Chase even though the woman who ran the orphanage advised against it. He explained that he was a fire bending master, and that Chase was going to travel with him, and learn how to fire bend.
The small child was ecstatic, and took to the man almost immediately, forming a strong bond with him. He grew up calling him 'Master', never knowing his real name. The man raised Chase, teaching him fire bending as they traveled through the lands. Chase took to the training very well, advancing faster then the man ever thought a child could. By the time he was fourteen, Chase had come very close to mastering the element, and only had a few more years until that accomplishment was a reality.
A short while after Chase turned 16, their camp was attacked by a group of men. Chase was able to get away, but only because his master sacrificed himself. He died that night, leaving Chase with nobody. Ever since, Chase has been travelling around, doing odd jobs to make money to feed himself, and his companion he recently met in a forest, Zala, a dragon cat. | |
