| | King Anuktiluk | IT WAS THE second day proceeding the attack on the 7 Nation Summit, and Anuk hadn't the slightest smidgen of rest. The man thoroughly miffed; very much bothered by the events of that night, and coming to decisions or even a coherent conclusion required torrential pondering and careful calculations. It was funny how one shouldn't go over such things while tired, but yet it was the stress that was causing his lack of sleep in the first place.
But there was no doubt about one instance in particular.
The Northern Water Tribe was at war.
Perhaps not right away. But soon, they may need to physically defend themselves against a very formidable threat. Standing there, peering out the clear ice windows of his studio, Anuktiluk Leiheng felt that it would be so easy to forget the night ever happened and initiate a charade of peace. It'd be painfully easy to crawl into bed and pretend as if the problems were solved on their own.
But all the servants and his people tittered and teetered about him so infuriatingly he doubted he could get away with keeping them ignorant. The nobles, the ones that were not present, should be made aware of what transpired that night. Much to Anuk's chagrin, it was the only tactical thing to do.
Anuk approached a servant and ordered her to call a meeting of all nobles. They were to file into the refectory at 7pm sharp. The auditorium-like room, crafted with fine ice crystals and jewels, was the center of all kingly announcements and trials. Anuk, standing strong and proud at the podium, awaited the arrival of his nobles.

| Captain Zhou walked to the palace in answer to the summons to announce the declaration of war in the ears of the nobles, royals and generals. As Captain of the Guard, he was already informed of the war, so will be there to for crowd control and to announce what the military will do until a war plan is made. Though he was etching for some action, he was not pleased of the thought of war. War brings death, destruction, and hardships for everyone involved in the war. He also has civilians to think about, even the civilians on the opposing side, and how this will effect and hurt them. All of this was going through his mind as he climbed the vast staircase to the palace. "What about the nobles," he thought. "If he was displeased about the war, how much more will they? What will they think or say about the unavoidable war?" This was turn out to be a bad day for him so far, and he knew that it will probably get worse. He entered the palace with the permission of the guards, and preceeded to go to the anouncement hall. When he entered, he only found King Anuk pacing the room waiting for all the required quests to arrive. As he bowed he said, "Greetings, Your Majesty." Then he took his seat the king's big chair. As he sat he said concerned, "You seem troubled, Your Majesty. Why has any else not arrived yet?" He waited for the king's answer as he observed the distressed and worried look on his face. | |

| A war was among the nations against a distant land, inhabiting beings with unknown abilities. Tamaki, himself, was only aware of a small fraction of what they are able to do, for it was brought to light to him during his duty as an Earth Kingdom Rescuer in the Burned Lands, but the word of the war brewing, and now beginning, was not unheard of. Aware of the forces of the Vermilion Dragon Empire being sent to the 'New World,' and other nations recruiting to broaden their attack power, as well, the declaration for all Northern Water Tribe nobles to make their appearance at the palace for a meeting wasn't an off-guard circumstance, but more so one expected, due to the current state of the world.
Arriving on not only behalf of himself, but for his father, General Okinawa of the Northern Water Tribe Non-Military Defense Forces, the young male made the assumption it involved plans on what to do involving the tribe's participation in the war. Whether it be to shed blood with countless of their men, merely send boats filled to the brim with medics and healers, or even do both, for that matter, it was what he felt was the importance and origin of the formal gathering. However, the notion of defense in their own nation was a thought to be best put under heavy consideration in order to prevent another mishap that could result in another 'Burned Lands.'
Tossing the possibilities and outcomes in his head, whatever the case would be, he concluded he'd brush off the matter until the meeting actually commenced, and the discussion began. For now, he would worry about actually arriving.
Escorted into a large, auditorium of pure, dressed ice, Tamaki couldn't help but scrutinize the unfamiliar surroundings. Noting the intricately crafted decor and polished, precious stone that lined the edges of the walls, he undoubtedly felt a bit out of place. A plan, emotionless appearing boy with bright, sky-blue locks dressed in mere neutral colors of silk garments - he felt as he did as a child, though was sure he wouldn't have been looked at with as much disdain and ridicule. However, at the glance of the strong, dignified king and military captain waiting, he only hoped.
Placing a hand on his chest in remorse as he stepped into the confines of the room, the young male announced monotonously, "I apologize for my possible interruption of your conversation. I am here on behalf of the Okinawa's." And with that, Tamaki seated himself rigidly on a seat near the front row of seats designated for all nobleman.

| At the sight of this rigid young noble, Shaang felt relieved that the rest of the quests were finally arriving. He was fed up and bored of waiting for so long. He was ready to get on with this, and be done with it. This was a occasion was hard enough without having to wait. "Greetings," he said to the young noblemen with a respectful bow. "Thank you for coming. We all know that this is not a very pleasant occasion for anyone." As he observed this young noblemen, he seemed very pompous and he acted like he didn't want to be there. He has had few dealings with nobles, but as the Captain of the Guard he would gain more experience and be able to handle them easier. He knew that more nobles would be arriving soon, so he stood at attention await the start of the meeting. As he stood there, he wondered what will happen, and how he will deal with things if they got out of hand.

| OOC: This gal isn't waiting any longer for more arrivals. The rest of the nobles will be considered NPCs, no now the meeting shall proceed. ;3 | King Anuktiluk | This long era of peace had been pleasant, yes, and many nobles and generals were serene with life as it was, but the level of lateness that afflicted most of the nobles, now arriving with too little haste for his comfort, displeased Anuk greatly. The few that had actually come on time seemed miffed as well, casting glances back and forth in obvious confusion. The king watched them, steely eyes taking in the anticlimactic atmosphere, and reminded himself to begin drills immediately. His court was far too lazy for his comfort.
Among those that'd come on time, there was his familiar, Shaang, along with Tamaki, a boy close to his sons' age. His father was absent, sorely. Anuk rather liked the man's level of discipline and tenacity. His child, Tamaki, was very taciturn, a trait reminiscent to Cassian or Roman. Nevertheless, the boy always made his desires clear and his mind was very sharp.
"Greetings, Your Majesty," Shaang had said prior to Tamaki's inevitable arrival. "You seem troubled, Your Majesty. Why has any else not arrived yet?"
Shaang was the captain of the Northern Water Tribe's guard. He held his sector with good leadership skills, and wasn't an unpleasant person overall. Anuk turned to him, "Incompetence seems prevalent amongst my nobles at this time," he replied, simply. "Do not worry yourself. I simply see that a long era of peace has made my nobles a bit too ... unassuming."
A silence passed between them, during which Tamaki had entered. Shaang turned to the boy and offered a polite greeting.
Finally, after all the nobles were accounted for, Anuk was able to step up to his podium and speak. "I am not going to go into detail of the level of disappointment I feel," he started. "Because there are more pressing matters at stake. Do, however, keep in mind that if I were to call an urgent meeting like this again, and half my nobles are not accounted for by the deadline, there will be heavy consequences.
"I'm sure you all are aware of the summit my sons, daughter and I attended two days prior to where I am standing right now," he told them. Privately, he was attempting to convince himself that he was indeed alive. Anuk swept his eyes through the room and gestured to the stage. The refectory was silent, dignified. "I am going to start by cluing you all in that, based on the events that transpired, Castiel, Cassian and Kihana are not present for this announcement simply for the fact that the events of the summit were very traumatizing for them."
He paused for a minute, letting that sink in.
"A new nation has been discovered overseas, teeming with people. However, these are not just any normal people--you must bear with me on this--these are magicians." Gasps and small shouts of outrage pattered through the room. Theorists and educated persons shook their heads discreetly, but not discreet enough for Anuk's well-trained eyes.
He went on, "As you all know based off our little fairy tales and myths, 'magic' is the tangible power to control reality to your will. We'd thought itr was fake, the lot of it. From the stories of the Ancients. Sure, we are capable of manipulating the forces of nature, but such an art is granted to a certain few and there are techniques and masters that come along with it. We believe in spirits, and we believe in Gods. So why, pray tell, can we not believe that somewhere, out there, a person can enchant a chair into an apple .. or a dragon?"
A pregnant pause fell over most of the crowd. There were plenty that didn't see how his last statement was going to make the notion any more believable. Anuk examined his fingernails, waiting for his words to process in the minds of his nobles.
"I do not care if you believe me or not," he told them. "But I am not going to allow you all to learn the hard way. I am not going to wait until this Nation is seized for you to come to terms with the truth. My children and I had to watch as the magicians attacked, trying valiantly not to die, as the very table the kings sat at turned into a living, breathing dragon." Flashbacks swept through his mind. He hadn't paid attention to most of the carnage, but seeing the Elemental King getting devoured was fresh on his mind. Oh, Hana, what on Earth was going to happen?
A chorus of, 'Has he gone mad?' swept the room.
Anuk's brow furrowed dangerously. "SILENCE. Where has your patriotism gone? You dare disrespect your king? The words I utter are madness, to you, perhaps, but in their madness I suggest you gain some merit. Now, where was I? Oh yes. All the nations' leaders wanted to have peace with the magicians. We procured offerings. Gifts. We were going to send some of our own to speak to their king. It was all going to be peaceful, so that we may continue our era of peace.
"However, as I said before, they suddenly attacked in the middle of the meeting. With dragons, serpents and deadly beams of light. The Elemental King was devoured by a snake I apprehended, using my Bloodbending. I took the Southern Water Tribe King and princess with me, found my children, and escaped the premises."

| Kailani would walk into the conference room, quietly, not to disturb her husband talking. She would smile at the ones who were looking at her, and decided to take her seat beside Anuk. Sitting down quietly, she would continue to listen to Anuk not trying to cause any type of fuss.
Listening to Anuk's speech made her realise, the one tribe that was safe has been consumed with danger. Kailani knew war was to happen, war always happened. She sat there, and waited just in case Anuk wanted her to say something.

| As Shaang listened and watched, he became even more distressed by the minute. It seemed that at any moment the nobles and generals were going to raise up against their king. They thought he was raving like a madman when they heard him speak of the magicians. He knew he had to be ready to defend, protect, and lay down his life for his beloved king at any moment. He didn't know what might happen, but he was ready for anything. Finally, he could stand it no longer. Shaang jumped out of his seat, stepped in front of the nobles and said, "Hear me, great noblemen and generals." Realizing that he had interrupted King Anuk, so he said as he bowed, "Excuse me for the interruption, your majesty. May I speak?" | |

| Kota had been sitting quietly, trying to comprehend the things Anuk was saying. as soon as hey saw Shaang speak out he jumped up. "Shaang! You Idiot! You cannot interrupt a king in the middle of a speech! just because you are captain does not mean you have authority."
Kota paused for a moment to think about what he just did. "Captain Shang... please I wish to just listen to what King Anuk has to say. And king please forgive my rude interruption

| Shaang was very displeased with the insolence of this young noble, but in spite of that he knew that he was right. He decided to let the king finish what he was saying before he said anything. So he bowed to the young noblemen and said, "My apologies my lord." He then turned and bowed to King Anuk and said, "I am sorry for the interruption. Please proceed your majesty," and sat back down. As he sat there, he turned an angry gaze on the young noble to let him know that he was furious about how he had spoke to him. He was not happy at all. He was just trying to stand up for his king and set those skeptical noble straight. He hoped that he is guilty for the way he spoke to him. | |
