Brief History: Keiss grew up in the Iron Clan. He was once training as a bodyguard for the Chief Vaigali. Keiss as a child was well liked by Vaigali and was seen as a prodigy as the strongest of the Iron Clan since Kishiu Oredate (though Vaigali, in truth hates Kishiu for bowing down to the will of the Elders). This left Keiss to wonder whom Kishiu was, Keiss spent much of his life after this learning about Kishiu, hearing stories of his heroism and his great adventures. Keiss wished to meet Kishiu after hearing about him, and he started training to be just like him.
Eventually Keiss travelled to the City of Ancients, against Vaigali’s advice, to meet Kishiu. After hearing that Keiss left, Vaigali instantly banished him from the Iron Clan, and put a bounty on his head if he ever returned. Keiss, having caught wind of this during his trip, felt betrayed himself, by his own clan. Keiss, knowing he couldn’t go back to his life in his clan, decided to find honest work in the City of Ancients. He started by doing odd jobs for being, doing things from escorting rich and important people to their destinations, to helping fix things, to escorting cargo by land or sea.
Keiss’s reputation in the City of Ancients grew quiet large, it grew to the point where he was awarded a medal by the Elders for good citizenship. The award was presented to him-however-by the Guardians more specifically, Kishiu Oredate. Kishiu and Keiss seemed to form an instant friendship after meeting, the two having a lot in common. Both were hated by Vaigali, and both were banished from their clans as well.
When Keiss came to Kishiu eventually begging for Kishiu to train him, Kishiu at first declined the offer. However, after seeing the determination that Keiss showed, agreed, and trained him in the art of fighting, war, strategy, leadership and mechanics. Teaching Keiss mechanics led Kishiu to discover his knack for building and fixing motors and vehicles. As a way of helping Keiss hone this art and learn further at his craft, he offered Keiss a job a the local Mechanic shop in town. Keiss took the job, and has been working hard as an apprentice mechanic to one of the best mechanics on the Island of Ancients, Cid Fujiki. Keiss dreams to one day open up his own mechanic store, and ship vehicles to the different clans in order to unify them.
