| Yami sat down on a sand dune and examined her surroundings, then looked down at her map. She was horrible at navigation, but she had somehow nearly made it to a village and could see it coming into view. If she were reading the map correctly, she was approaching the city of Fror in the Cutae Clan territory. She needed to purchase more supplies. She was running low on water and food alike. She rolled up the map and stood up, walking into the village.
Most of the time, people all over the world stare at Yami's unusual clothing of the green and gray mottled cloak. Yet here, she had left the cloak behind and wore lighter clothing so she could withstand the heat. Instead, she wore light brown pants and a tan shirt that went to her wrists but was baggy so as to let air circulate through. Her bow was strapped to her back, this time her wooden longbow instead of the black metal one her uncle had given her, though she used the same arrows. Her knives remained strapped to her waist, and to top it all off, she wore a turban the color of her shirt that had a cloth hanging down from it that covered her whole face except for her eyes. This was to prevent any sand, should a sandstorm arise, from getting into her nose and mouth.
Most of the people in the city wore similar clothing, and many of them didn't notice the stranger walk in. Yami pulled the veil off from across her face and let it hang on the left side and walked into a crowded market. The street was filled with food vendors and people showing off obscure talents, like walking on coals and fire eating. Yami located a stand selling bottles of water. The town was built around an oasis, like most desert villages, so the townspeople would be provided with fresh water. Yami purchased as much as she thought necessary to continue her journey, and then some for bending purposes. She then left the market and walked into a nearby tavern.
The place was nearly empty, given the time of day, but there were still a few patrons, some regulars and some travelers. They all seemed to be gathered around one of the many wanted posters. Yami pushed her way through the crowd, and her eyes widened at the face on the page, then she grinned. Well what do you know, it looks like my old friend Setomaru has been around,, she thought. The price he was fetching was huge. She wondered if he was anywhere near the village. Apparently, he had done something that had angered the villagers, and Yami's guess was that word had gotten out that he was a Jinchuuriki. She laughed and sat down, not noticing that there was also a poster with her face on it.

| (We'll let Loo decide, but first, I wanna post ) Yo Shukaku...why's the whole village hate me?I think they--hold on. There's another Jinchuuriki here. It's 5-tails.Yami again? Where are all the other ones? Whatever, lead me to her.Setomaru was in the desert, where he was the strongest. He came across a city called Fror, that was based around an oasis. The people there didn't seem to like him, they even had a wanted poster of him up, for a pretty high bounty. His biiju, Shukaku, led him to Yami, who was in front of a bunch of wanted posters. Setomaru noticed something....not just his face was up. Yami's face was there too. He needed to get her attention before the villagers realized it was her on that poster. He resorted to throwing small pebbles at her, as he stood from a small nearby building. | |

| (No, Leo, this is just a topic for me and sprite, sorry!)
Yami turned and noticed for the first time the poster of herself. She looked around quickly, then tore the flier from the wall, shoving it in her bag. Nobody seemed to notice, and she relaxed a little, feeling like she wouldn't be caught. Her nerves were sprung up again as she felt rocks being thrown at her. Her eyes widened. Calm down, the person behind you is nobody trying to sell you. At least, not yet anyway. I don't believe in loyalty. Shut up, Yami thought in return to the 5-tails.
She snapped around. Speak of the devil, she thought as she came face to face with Setomaru. Noticing the various patrons that might recognize him, she stepped out of the tavern. "Well well, if it isn't mister shukaku himself. What brings you to the deserts, Seto?" she asked, one eyebrow raised. She had a perfectly good reason to be wandering around in the desert. Setomaru, however, she had no idea of what reason he had to be out there, especially at the given time of the year.

| Setomaru finally got the girl's attention.
"That would me. And I'm here because...well...It's the desert! My natural--er, Shukaku's natural habitat. Also I got this cool new glider from an old air temple!" He said, as he pulled his staff out from behind his back and twirled it around a bit. He placed it back in its holder on his back.
"So, why are you here?" He asked.

| Yami studied the glider for a moment, admiring the workmanship. It was an older style than the modern ones, and frankly, the old ones were better. They, at least from what Yami had heard, were easier to control and seemed to become part of the breeze. The newest design was heavier and harder to control, seeming to always take you down, never up unless you went almost vertical.
She turned back to Setomaru. "Well, there is a certain type of chi-blocking poison that goes on my arrows. My uncle, when he gave me the bow, had given me the first supply of poison, but then handed me a map showing me where to go to find the herbs to make the poison myself. Most of the herbs can be found at a village in the next territory to the north of here, so that's where i'm headed. Oh, and I don't think this is the best place to talk. We are being searched for, probably by that man over there," she said, turning to face a man who had just been sneaking out from behind a garbage bin. He froze and stared at her. "Wha-...how-" he started to ask, but Yami held up a hand. "If you don't know who I am, then it wouldn't be worth my time telling you. And if you knew, you wouldn't be asking stupid questions or trying to ambush my friend an I," she said.
The man just stood there, looking around, then with a glint in Yami's eye, he felt like he didn't want to mess with them, and ran off down the street.

| Setomaru crossed his arms while listening to Yami talk about some sort of chi blocking poison arrows. Interesting...
"What's the whole deal with chi these days? It randomly became so popular. " He said, which was actually true. He watched as Yami told a man off, and the man ran away. He decided that it was best that they go to this territory that Yami was talking to. First, they would need some sort of transport. He looked around and saw an empty sand-sailer.
"Alright then, I'll escort you to the next territory. Follow me! Setomaru said, air-jumping onto the sailer.

| Yami followed him while the 5-tails began lecturing her again. You can't possibly think you need an escort to take you to that village? You can get across this desert on your own, you have done it before, it said. Think of it this way. I will get to my destination sooner on a sand sailor with an earth/air bender, and there will be somebody else nearby to keep you in check in case you think about killing another random traveler. That was fun, and you know it. Yami punched herself in the stomach and the beast stopped talking. She then ran and jumped onto the sailor next to Setomaru. One thing was puzzling her, though: why was Setomaru, the goof that she met in the earth kingdom, suddenly being a gentleman? She just shrugged the thought aside and said, "The village is to the North-East of here." | |

| Setomaru arched a brow as Yami punched herself in the stomach, shrugged it off, and waited until she got onto the sailor. When she got on, he blew a burst of wind at the sail, making the sailor start to move faster and faster. Once it got to a high enough speed, Setomaru let the natural winds take care of it. It was just a big square piece of wood with a sail, so there wasn't any seats. Setomaru sat down in a cross legged position.
After a while of adding more wind to the sail, Setomaru felt a large rumbling. He hoped it wasn't...
"What could that have been?" He asked Yami, keeping a straight face.
