Yami sidestepped as the flaming punches came at where she had been standing previously. With Ru's lunge, Yami had now gotten behind him. She formed the water into ice. She shaped it around until it formed a jagged knife. She spun around to face his back, then lurched forward. She sent flames out to the right to distract Ru while the real attack came from the left: The tip of the jagged knife, aimed at the small of Ru's back. A hit of fire bending gave her arm an extra push for her to stab Ru in the back.

Ru was to distracted by the flames Yami had sent at him to notice the ice knife aiming for his back. Luckily he moved just enough for the knife to not kill him, but instead stab him in the side. Blood, poured from the open cut. Being the idiot he was, he did the only thing to stop the bleeding, burning the cut close. The pain was unbearable but it did the trick. His act of healing had confused his foe and he took the chance to strike. He did his most advanced trick he knew, the breath of fire. If he was lucky, the flames would consume Yami and do a lot of damage.

Yami was getting weak, finding it harder and harder to stand. The impact of the breath of fire not only burned her, but knocked her off of her feet. She lay on the ground, momentarily motionless. Just give up! You're going to get us killed! Good Yami shouted in her head. It's not like you to give up. Come on, now. I won't let you get killed. I just want to fight until you faint, the beast responded. Yami rolled her eyes. If Drago were here, this battle would have been over a long time ago, she thought. Slowly, Dark Yami managed to get to her feet. Still keeping a cool head, she began to swirl her hand above her head, creating multiple lumps of flames. She then lowered these flames to the ground, and they formed wolves. "Get him." she said, pointing at Ru.

Ru was tired but not nearly as tired as his opponent. He fire wolves charged at him but Ru easily shot small balls of fire at each of them, destroying them. Ru was hopeful this would be the last hit, or second to last. He wanted this over. Ru was lazy, so he launched a simple, huge gust of flames towards Yami.
