Brief History: After deciding to move to a big city, Dawa was warned that it might be necessary to wield a weapon. She didn't care for the idea of carrying a heavy and clearly dangerous object around with her, so she had a friend craft her a custom weapon: a hardwood and oilpaper parasol with a hidden dagger in the handle. Dawa can use the parasol in her airbending (gliding, defense) and the dagger in situations that might require a more offensive strategy.

Hair: Dawa's ash brown hair is cropped close to her head, with slightly side-swept bangs. A braid extends past her shoulder from behind her ear.
Eyes: She has prominent, down-turned golden brown eyes.

Clothes: Her everyday outfit is comprised of a long-sleeved, creme-colored cotton blouse that is long and semi-fitted. She wears brown trousers that reach her feet. When possible, Dawa opts to go barefoot, but will wear leather sandals if she needs to.
Skin: She has pale skin with a thin, dark scar on the back of her neck.
Body Type: Dawa doesn't look particularly fit until she does something to exert, when her skin is pulled taut against her coordinated muscles.

Personality: Dawa doesn't mind being a little different. She has a rebellious and non-traditional nature. Anything can be turned into a good thing for Dawa. She's friendly and says what she thinks, often without a filter. Some say she's selfish or doesn't take anything seriously.

Brief History:

The Samtens were a large family, and Dawa was their first by a mere fourteen months. Although she cared for all of them, for some reason, she never felt a strong connection to any of them. Perhaps it was the expectation that Dawa would end up like her parents, and her siblings would follow suit. There was some strange aversion to conformity burned into Dawa's mind. So, at a young seventeen, she left the Temple of the Northern Winds for Vermilion City.
Dawa found a job bringing in airships at the dock. It didn't provide much money, so Dawa was unable to live in the middle of the city as she'd imagined. Dawa's trying to become more established and master smoke-bending.
