home sweet home (Lindsey)

It was sunset as Shiki was walking with a cart into the dark nation. Letting the children sleeve on a couple pillows from the stuff she was bringing for them to live within the dark nation. Pulling her hood down, it had been a long trip, she was glad she made it in time. Letting the children sleep, she went to her home where she had some people unload the cart.

”Skye. Helios. Time to get us. Kahli. I got some food.” Shiki said as she picked the children up placing them on their feet on the ground. Shiki left the unpacking to the people in her home since they were the kids of her nanny for Helios when she coudln’t get to him. ”We have to go see Arlania. I am sure Skye you are happy to see her.” Shiki giggled, holding down her hands as Helios grabbed her finger. She felt like it would be a good idea to go to her sergent before her sergent find out before she has a chance to tell her.

Skye rubbed her eyes as she swayed back and forth. She just woke up and even Kahli yawned. She looked around, it was night time, Skye tried to look around but it was hard to see the city. She looked up at Shiki as she talked about her sister.

Skye nodded and smiled, in a rather sleepy notion. She just wanted to go back to sleep. Skye put her thumb in her mouth as Helios held her other hand. Kahli laying on her back on the ground.

Today was the day. Durzo was resting against the wall next o the gate of the Nation. He waited for the two kids and their "escort" to arrive. He took a quick glance up but stopped and paused when he had spotted them. He let out a large sigh as he did not like training toddlers but it had to be done to get them ready for the hell of humanity and the possibility of them killing in the future. It was the bulwark of the people and the need for the Dominion to survive in their war against the corruption of the world.

He stepped away from the wall as he walked towards the kids in the cart. He stopped the girl as he put his hand up to stop her. He moved the blanket to look at the kids and moved it quickly back.

"At base in one hour. You leave them there and you then go to meet Arlania. Is that understood recruit"

Shiki blinked as a man came up, a cold look on her face. But she sighed as she figured there were always people from the Ngiht angel. Looking at the children, she still had a few days at least before she was supposed to arrive. She thought at least she would have a day or two to get Skye to her sister, or at least have Helios get some real food in his body.

Helios looked at the man. "Excuse me sir, this little girl is Arlania's little sister. I promised her grandmother I would take her to her family here. I was given a week in a half. I still have another day sir." Shiki told him. She didn't want to be dispectful but she did promise. Shiki picked up Skye placing her on her hip since the child was too sleepy.
Helios held onto his mother's hand and looked at the man. "come on kids. LEts get some food, then find Skye's sister or mom." she smiled walking down the street heading towards the training room. She stopped off to get some food for the kids. the sweet garlic bread looked good. she gave Helios some and a muffin to Skye. WAlking towards teh training room to see Arlania.

Skye looked up at the large man, then back at Shiki, she didnt understand what was going on, and that was normal, she didnt speak big words, or alot of them over all. Skye just slowly waved bye as Shiki tugged her along. The next thing she knew, was that she had a large muffin in her hands. Skye's face lit up and she munched on the delicious baked good.

Arlania was training, as usual, when she recieved news that Shiki Game was back. A day early, as midly expected, but what she didnt expect to see on the sheet of paper was that Shiki came with two children. Helios Game, and Skye Shir. Arlania's eyes lit up. She knew her mother had another child, but she had never seen her before, as her mother took her up North after birth, while Arlania was away.

She threw down the peice of paper and proceeded to leave when Shiki and the kids had entered the Training room already. Arlania stopped. " Shiki." She said simply, eyeing the little girl. She looked exactly like her father, and Arlania just closed her eyes. She was young, really young.

shiki looked up with a smile as Arlania came up to her. Standing up straight, Helios looked at Arlania. "Oh she is a pretty lady, mama." Helios giggled. thinking about it, Shiki didn't say anything for a moment. she did just come back with her sergent's little sister. Rubbing the back of her head she wasn't sure even really want to say.

"Arlania Sir, your grandmother let me bring Skye. She said she wasn't doing so well, but as long as I brought her back once a year, she would be happy to see her come here to her family." Shiki told Arlania in a respectful voice not trying to cause any trouble. Helios smiled at waved at Skye with a giggle.

Arlania nodded at Shiki and looked at Skye, she knelt down beside her. " Do you know who i am?" Arlania said firmly, not trying to sound mean, just a natural thing for her. The little girl just nodded slightly. Her blue eyes staring in awe. Then all of a sudden Skye stepped forward and grasped Arlania by the knee.

Arlania's eyes just widened as the child hugged her. She didnt know what to do, for a while she just knelt there gaping at the touch. Arlania finally managed to pat her on the head and then she stood. Facing Shiki, " Do not pay attention to what Durzo said, he just is one for protocal." Arlania said crossing her ams, " You have your last day to relax and then early the next morning report to me, here. Got that?" She said, a bit of fiercness in her voice.

Shiki looked at the two, it made her smile. Helios got down walking over to Skye. He patted her on the back and slowly pushed her forward to hugging Arlania while she was at the right level. "huggie your sissy." Helios laughed. Shiki grabbed hellios by the back of his belt and lifted him up in the air like she was holding a bag. He laughed.

Shiki nodded her head. "she hasn't really eatten since this morning. But we will be there bright an early. Helios say good bye to Skye. You will see her in the morning." Shiki told her son, she wasn't going to get in trouble for missing training. Helios pouted and shook his head. "No good bye means forever. See you later means I will see you again. so..." He smiled at Skye. "See you tomorrow my prencess." Helios giggled.
