Training.

A cold eerie feeling hung in the air, and this caused Yumi to shiver. She looked straight ahead at the small, cheap training dummy filled with hard, raw beans. Yumi kicked her foot upward, and then dropped it down. She leaned forward, her palms facing the cold, icy ground."Ah.." It hurt, that was for sure. Yumi turned her hip, and her legs did a 180. Her boots hit the dummy, shaking it. Her legs were next to eachother, the tip of her foot point the air. She leaned her legs forward, her ankles around the dummy's head. She grunted, and like a trap, her legs snapped forward, and the bean filled head came with it. Pushing herself up with her arms, she kicked both feet upward, making a large rip from the chest and up to where the chin would've been. Retracting, she was sitting down, right next to the dummy. Suddenly, Yumi jumped up and did a cartwheel back form the dummy. Doing so, her foot came up and snapped the left arm right off. She did a cartwheel forward this time, and her knees were on the shoulder of the dummy. She flipped down, hanging by her knees of the thick branch for the arm. Her palm was on the curved side. She pushed, and it broke in half. She was spinng in the air with half of a chest and legs, she grabbed both legs and kicked. The remaining chest part flew off, and the legs snapped in half. Yumi landed on her feet, sighing as she went to pick up the dummy's pieces.

Tessa had been walking by for when she saw the girl Attack the cheap dummy. She stopped to watch and eyed every movement taking them into memory. It was so graceful and quick. Also it was over before she knew it. She watched as the girl then started to pick up the pieces of the dummy.

Tessa ran up to her, her boots tracking in the snow. "Hi! You need some help picking those pieces put?" A smile slide onto her face as she held her own hands behind her.

Yumi was a bit startled. She blushed and smiled. "Um, sure." She stretched and cartwheeled over to the next scatter of dummy pieces. 'Was she watching me to the whole time?!' Yumi couldn't stop blushing. She faced the floor, her silver hair fell over her face to hide it.

Tessa had picked up a few pieces before speaking again.
"I'm Tessa.. Those Where some awesome Moves." She smiled looking up at the girl.
"Do You bend?"

Yumi frowned. "Sorry, I don't. I wish I could though..." She gave a nervous look. 'I must be disappointing...' Yumi's face was redder."Oh yeah, my name is Yumi."

"Oh.... Well Thats OK! You just as good as a bender with those awesome moves!" Tess smiled at the girl named Yumi. "I am A bender and I Cant even take an enemy out as well as that! Like look at these pieces! There tore!" Tessa wanted to sound more cool but the words just came out as a impressed squeal.

Yumi blushed."You really think so? Well, uh, could you show me some waterbending?" Yumi took out her black staff, with blue engraved.

Tessa, Who loved Practicing bending, Nodded and removed her gloves from her hands. "OK. " She breaths smoothly as she drew the water from the snow at her feet. Pulling the water around her and then having it form a circle in her hands.
"Its pretty easy once you get the hang on it." Tessa Smiled. "Thats a Nice staff. Where did you get it?" She eyes the staff, It looked as if it was made in the water tribe.

Yumi stared at it. "It's been a long time. I don't think I remember. Father gave it to me." Memories refreshed her mind, and she began to stare at the water. So beautiful... Yumi cleared her thoughts. She brought the semi sharp round forward, and the force snapped the dummy chest upward. She grabbed it and stuffed it with the other parts. 'A harder dummy would be nice, like one made of rock or ice..'

Tessa noticed the memories behind the words. "Its still pretty nice, All in all." She watch as Yumi stabbed the staff at the cheap dummy. "Hehe, That dummy isn't really holding out for your strength.." Tessa watched as more pieces fall from the dummy. Then It hit her! "How about some help? You could have moving targets and a Challenge! I had been learning how to bend ice. I could Through up a few sheets and let you attack them." Tessa grinned at her brilliant Idea; Even thought the same techniques was used in water bending to teach Offensive and Defensive attacks.
