Yami grunted as she slammed into the sand wall. A resounding crack told her she'd broken something, probably a rib. Her adrenaline was too high for her to give it much thought.

She was closer now. She could see the sand bender now. All she needed was one precise hit.

She'd been fighting aggressively so far. The sandstorm was giving her little choice on the matter. She was at a severe disadvantage compared to her opponent. But now, for once, she was close enough to see.

She dropped down low, throwing her leg out in an attempt to sweep the woman's legs out from under her. She then lit her fist ablaze, pushing into an uppercut, hoping to catch her on her way down.

Enya felt the resounding pain of a fire uppercut to the gut.

She went flying, skidding across the sand, dust going everywhere.

She smirked.  This Fire-Spitter was skilled.

Covering her arms and legs in a thick coating of sand, Enya ceased the sandstorm and charged Yami.

The Fire-Spitter wanted to take this fight head to head, she would have her wish.  She was skilled enough, and Enya felt like giving her the respect she deserved.

Hand to hand, head to head combat.

A welcome change of plan.

Enya swung her fist at Yami's gut.

The first strike of many, she hoped.
