Image:  |CHARACTERISTICS|Personality: Kiran is a fairly lax individual, going with the flow. For someone without a real home or anything, he's surprisingly content about it all, always usually whistling a tune when he's not conversing with customers or fellow travelers, which is often. Even when he's set up on the side of the road for the night, he doesn't grumble or anything. However, he does become a bit bothered whenever he finds himself wrapped up in political affairs or major conflicts, he will be a bit grouchy about that, but that doesn't happen much...

Brief History: Kiran is the son of a merchant who was the son of a merchant going back several generations. Very few members of his family were benders so it was a bit of a surprise when he began to fire bend. Rather than go into the military like a lot of boys around him who could bend, he chose to stick with the family tradition and be a merchant. Rather than setting up a small store like his forefathers though, he wanted to travel as well, so one day he put some of his father's wares in a bag and set out.
It was when he was resting in a smaller city that his first bout of bad luck struck. A small group of rebels decided to attack a local army officer and Kiran just so happened to be on the same street as that.
From there, similar things happened in other cities he stopped in so he started to avoid staying in cities. Even know though, while stick to smaller villages, trouble just keeps seeming to find him.

| The Fire Nation is now the Empire of the Sun. The area you are specifically talking about for your character's hometown, would be in what is known as Kumamoto Provine, formerly the Hu Xin Provinces, where Yu Dao once was. Make the small tweak and I'll give it the approval  | |
